Tell-A-Tale (Part 54): Monsters...curried

It doesn't matter even if I'd checked my bearing...because I would have forgotten it by now.

But I remember those monstrous freshwater prawns...

...curried, Chinese-style, with lots of shallots and curry leaves.

And steamed bread for dipping.

Followed by an even fresher catch.

Countless prawns, a steamed red snapper and bottles of homemade sugarcane juice later, we headed home, passing the place we would have and perhaps, will explore one day.

In the past 48 hours, we were the real monsters.

Somehow that last shot of IPOH in capitals like some Twilight Zone by way of Tapah version of the Hollywood Hills is so creepy and perfect. Movie monsters? Meet the Blog Monster... :P

Ooooh la la...I meant Ooooh prawn prawn. Ok whatever. Those look like some fine prawns bro! I wanna dunk my slice of bread into the gravy, actually I hope nobody minds, but I wanna dip my finger in and lick the sauce off. :P

Lovely recap of a trip I missed :( Let me know before you all decide to head to Ipoh ok. I'll run through town first, screaming, "The monsters are kambing, the monsters are kambing!" *ROFL*
