When they met...
Constellations of thoughts collided,
resulting in a spectacular fall of sakura petals.
When they spoke...
The surrounding seemed bleak,
like the withering leaves amongst striking, ripe yuzus.
When they ate...
They spoke of fresh sashimi;
of firm hotate and hamachi,
of rich sake and maguro,
of crunchy akagai,
of tough otoro silence. When they yearned for more...
An encapsulation of crispy fried prawns with salmon and avocado teased their senses.
And when they left...
Wishes were for a beautiful autumn,
and another good harvest...
...of Yuzu.

Hi there,
Really love your pictures on this post, especially the last picture of the sushi roll. Feel like picking them up and straight into my mouth. :)
Umaiii desu!!!!
Do you think Japanese food is better in Malaysia or Singapore?
did they have the special tuna rice in claypot? can't remember wat's it called now. went thr at the end of last yr ;p
next time, for jap, i think dslr takes better pics. i had so many angles of the sashimi but none turned out to my liking. sigh.
cumi & ciki, hehehe...arigato gozaimasu! i am reminded of that song that sounded like.."i like the way you movvvvveee"..forgot the name of that song/singer already...hehe
pureglutton, omg! convulsion seems to be the word of the week, eh? haha! thanks for the compliment! the sashimi there was nice. except for the otoro lar..hehe
rasa malaysia, glad you liked the pics! ;D oh, i felt the same way about grabbin' and eatin' it too when i saw the pic! haha! the roll was good, definitely! ;D
camemberu, hai, umai desu! hehe...i think singapore has a better range of japanese restaurants. from ramens to izakayas to fine dine, the choices are endless. but i think kl is catching up as well. more choices for consumers! woohoo! quality-wise, i think it's about the same (for the same value).
jun, oh, are you referring to that steamed rice dish ar? never tried before leh...
no lar, jun. i feel that P&S can take some rather good angles as well. actually, given a choice, i would love to shoot P&S sometimes. ;D especially at those fine dines. oh, big viewfinder somemore. ;D btw, yr shots are good lar. ;D
aiyo, too poetic lah, I can't understand :( My English standard suck >_<"
